Chatpati Guvar Ki Sabzi
This is a very different yet very yum recipe. it’s my mother in law cooking in the video so below im writing her version that you can see in the video . And in the end I will mention the changes I would do if I were to make it alone.
Firstly in a Kadhai heat oil and put 1 small chopped onion and sauté till pink . Put salt , and 250 gm sliced guvar and 1 tsp whole zeera and cover and cook till half done . Then add 250 gm diced potatoes and cover and cook for 3-4 min . Then add 1 tbsp garlic paste , sauté and put half tsp haldi , 2 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp garam masala powder, 2 tsp Dhanya powder , 1 tsp zeera powder , 2 big finely chopperised tomatoes, some water and few slit green chillies ( I have used bhavnagri chilli ) . Sauté and put some water , lots of chopped coriander and mint and 1 tsp red chilli flakes and half tsp black pepper powder . Cook till done then add paste of 2 tbsp imli and 2 tbsp gudh soaked in water ( soak and blend and strain and use ) cook for 2 min and serve hot with chapati or paratha.
Nf version- in oil I would first put zeera and half tsp hing , then sauté onions , then put garlic and sauté , followed by tomato and spices and little
Water . Sauté well till oil comes up . Then put gawar and potatoes together and sauté . Then put coriander mint and green chilli and cook till done . And lastly add the imli gudh paste .
I have mentioned both the methods you can follow any . The results will be delicious whatever method you follow.
