Chatkhara Tandoori Barra

The name describes the taste . This is a super chatpata and delicious starter that will
‎اِ نْ شَآ ءَ اللّهُ beat the taste of restaurant.
And your family and guests will shower you with compliments.

For chicken marination . Grind together 1 whole dry kashmiri chilli , 1 tsp garlic paste, 1 tsp ginger paste , 2-3 green chilli , very little chopped coriander, half tsp amchur powder , half tsp chaat masala , 1 tsp red chilli powder, half tsp dhanya powder , 1/4th tsp zeera powder, half tsp garam masala powder , 1 tbsp tandoori masala , juice of 1 lime and 1 tbsp Kasoori methi . Blend all this to a fine paste and mix in 4 tbsp dahi .

Apply this marination on 1 kg chicken ( I’ve used small sized chicken cut into tandoori pcs and I have made slits on it ) let marinate for two hours or preferably overnight.

Next day either grill in the oven or in pan till done . Then char it on direct flame with few pcs of coal .

In a bowl mix together half cup cream, half chopped green chilli, half tsp chopped coriander, half tsp chaat masala and a pinch of salt .

In your serving tray put the grilled tandoori pcs, drizzle the cream mix and pour around 50 gm of melted Amul butter on top.

Serve hot as a starter or along with some butter garlic naan (type karte karte mu me paani aaraha hai this turned soooo good)

And to take the taste to another level make salad along with it . Just mix together half cup finely sliced purple cabbage , 1 finely sliced onion , 1 tbsp vinegar, half tsp red chilli powder and little salt . Mix well and serve along with the chicken.
