Caramel Sauce
In a vessel heat 1 cup of sugar and 4 tbsp water , let the sugar melt on low heat , do not stir . When the sugar has melted and starts caramelizing from the sides then you can stir the vessel on small intervals till you get a nice golden colour . Switch of the heat and add half cup of cream and stir fast with a wooden spoon ( please be very careful at this stage the sugar bubbles alot and is extremely hot so use a larger vessel to be safe) when the caramel stops bubbling mix in half cup of milk . Caramel sauce is ready to use on ice creams and shakes . You can alter the consistency according to your desire by adding extra milk.
