Bone Soup / Mandi Soup

This is a v mild spice , delicious and healthy soup and is usually served at Arabic restaurants along with mandi or as a welcome soup . This can be made with chicken or mutton but mutton tastes more nice in this .

In a pressure cooker heat little oil and add some whole garam masala, 1 chopped onion , 2-3 slit green chilli and sauté for a min . Add 250 gms of mutton /chicken bones and 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste, half tsp haldi , 2 pinch black pepper powder, 2 pinch garam masala powder and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add 1 litre of water and pressure cook on high heat till first whistle and low heat for half hour if cooking mutton and low heat for 10 mins if cooking chicken.

Once done strain the soup in another vessel and squeeze in juice of half lime and bring to a boil .and if u wish u can add the meat from the bones if any . And lastly if u like add some chopped coriander , I usually do but this time it got over so I could not add.
