Bohri Style Corn Soup

We usually get this in bohri thaals , I’ve tried my best to recreate it .

You can use slices of corn on the cob or u can use corn kernels with the same recipe .

Firstly boil 250 gms of chicken with bones in 1 litre of water along with salt , 1 tbsp garlic paste, 1 tsp ginger paste , half tsp green chilli paste. And cook till chicken is tender

Take another vessel n heat little oil , add 1 tbsp chopped onion , and strain the stock n put .( shred the chicken and keep aside )

Grind together a handful of corn kernels to a fine paste . And add this to the soup , along with that put a handful of whole corn kernels or 5-6 slices of corn on the cob . Boil for 5 mins and add little salt , 3 tbsp corn flour mixed with 1 glass water , ( this soup is thin in consistency compared to regular corn soup )2 tbsp sugar , the shredded chicken and cook more . Lastly add some chopped coriander and serve hot .

You can also add a cup of milk in the end for the white version of the same soup served.
