Cafe / Restaurant Style Corn Cheese Balls

Guys this is crisp from the outside and just melts in the mouth from inside .

This can be frozen for Ramadan . To fry for iftar you will have to fry on low heat , few pcs at a time , without defrosting.

Firstly heat half cup oil and 2-3 tbsp butter in a pan or Kadhai , put 1 cup maida a sauté on low heat till fragrant. Put 2.5 cups milk and keep stirring on low heat till a soft dough like texture is formed . Keep aside

Mash 500 gm boiled potatoes and to this mix the maida dough , mash more and then mix 1 tsp white pepper powder ,salt , 8-10 chopped green chillies , a handful of chopped coriander , 200 gm grated processed cheese, 1 cup sweet corn chopperised roughly ( no need to boil ) , half cup mayo/ white cheese dressing . Mix well with hands and keep in freezer for half hour so it’s easy to shape . With greased hands make medium sized balls and keep aside .

Dip each ball in thin maida slurry and coat with panko .

Deep fry few pcs at a time on medium-high heat till golden and crisp. Serve hot.
