Crispy Fried Bombil / Fish / Prawn / Chicken

This is super simple yet super delicious. And the best part is . if you don’t like bombil. You can make it in your choice of fish / prawns or even chicken cut into thin slabs or strips.

Simply marinate 500 gm of bombil with salt , 1tsp each of ginger garlic paste , 2 tsp red chilli powder , 1/4th tsp haldi powder , half tsp Dhanya powder , half tsp garam masala powder and juice of 1 lime . Mix well and let marinate for half hour.

On a plate mix, 3 tbsp chana aata, 2 tbsp rava, half tsp red chilli powder and salt. Mix well.

Just before serving, cost each pc of bombil with the flour mix ( press and coat , then remove excess )
Shallow fry on medium heat till golden and crisp . Serve hot with chutney or as an accompaniment with dal rice.
