Nizami Chicken/ Mutton Dum Gravy
Guys this is soooooo easy to make yet tastes just BEHTAREEEEN.
Simply grind together birista of 3 onions , a handful each of kaju and badaam, 250 gm dahi, 7-8 green chillies , a handful of coriander leaves , 3 roughly chopped tomatoes , 2 tbsp khamand ( decicated coconut ) , 3 tbsp garlic paste , 2 tbsp ginger paste , 1.5 tsp red chilli powder ,2 tsp garam masala powder, 1 tsp Dhanya powder , half tsp zeera powder , little yellow color , 1 tsp elaichi powder and blend to a fine paste.
On 1 kg meat , put salt , juice of 1 lime , a handful each of chopped coriander and mint , the prepared paste and 1 cup malai or cream . Mix well and let marinate for an hour or preferably overnight.
now take a kadhai and use the Same oil that you had made birista in . Put whole garam masala and the marinated chicken. Sauté and cover and cook till chicken is cooked and your desired consistency has been achieved.
Serve hot with naan / paratha or zeera rice or biryani rice.
