Restaurant Style Chopsuey
Yaar who doesn’t like chopsuey!!! It’s my fave and is soooo easy to make . I’m giving below recipe enough for 4 people . I have made a huge batch in the Video .
Just heat oil in a wok and saute 2 tbsp chopped garlic , 1 tbsp chopped onion till fragrant . Add salt, half tsp white pepper powder and 100 gm of thin long chicken strips . Saute well and add a generous handful of julienned veggies ( I’ve used bell peppers , carrot and cabbage ) saute and add half cup ketchup, 3 tbsp red chilli sauce , 3 tbsp green chilli sauce , 1 tbsp soya sauce and 1 tbsp sugar . Mix well and put 2 cups water and bring to a boil . Add slurry of 2 tbsp corn flour mixed in half cup water . Cook till thick and add little red Color , and half cup chopped pineapple ( optional) and some chopped spring onion . Mix well and Switch off heat.
If you want you can take ready fried noodles or simply take boiled Hakka noodles and mix in some dry corn flour and deep fry till golden .
Now in a plate or bowl take some fried noodles and put some gravy on it. Sprinkle some spring onion and serve immediately. Enjoy.
