Spicy Chicken Buns
Another must try recipe for Ramadan for all of you who want to avoid fried. Sorry I couldn’t click detailed pics or video. But will post more recipes with detail soon اِ نْ شَآ ءَ اللّهُ
Knead together 4 cups Maida with salt , 2 tbsp instant yeast , 2 tbsp sugar . Mix well and knead with lukewarm water . Lastly apply 3-4 tbsp oil n knead more . Cover n let rest for 2 hours or till dough doubles in size .
For the filing … first cook 250 gm boneless chicken with salt and 1 tbsp garlic paste , 1 tsp ginger paste . Cook well and shred and keep aside.
Heat little oil in a Kadhai and add 4-5 chopped green chilli , 3 onions finely chopped and cover and cook for 2 min , add 2 capsicum finely chopped and cover and cook for 2 min , add 3 finely chopped tomatoes and cover and cook for 2 min , all veg will turn soft and quantity will also become half . Then add salt , 4 tbsp ketchup , 1 tbsp soya sauce , 4 tbsp red chilli sauce 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce , 1 tsp chilli flakes and the shredded chicken , cook really well the filling should not be watery . Cook on high heat to dry any excess water then finally add some chopped coriander Mix well and let cool .
Take a ball of dough and roll it with help of dry flour to a small thick roti. Put stuffing in the middle and close from sides to make a bun. Keep all ready buns in. A greased oven tray. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle some til on top. Bake in. A preheated oven at 230 degrees till golden brown. Serve hot.
