Rajma Masala

Very easy and basic comfort food recipe , nothing really fancy about it but tastes super yumm with rice.

Soak 1 cup of rajma overnight . Pressure cook with salt and whole garam masala on high heat for first whistle and low heat for 7-8 mins. Keep aside.

Take a vessel and heat some oil and a dollop of butter , add 1 tsp whole zeera , 1 tej patta and saute , add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 2 chopped green chilies and saute well , add paste of 1 big onion and saute well till golden . Add paste of 3 tomatoes and saute more , add salt , half tsp haldi , 2 tsp red chilli powder , 1 tsp dhanya powder , half tsp garam masala powder , and saute more till oil separates . Add the rajma along with the water . And cover and cook for 10-12 mins. . Lastly add lots of chopped coriander and 1 tbsp of kasoori methi and mix. Serve hot with zeera rice.
