Dudhi Ka Halwa
Dudhi halwa seemed to be the most requested recipe this season . Follow my recipe for delicious creamy doodhi halwa with a secret ingredient. ( shhhh kisi ko pata nai chale š¤£š) So firstly peel and grate enough doodhi to fill 2 cups ( tightly packed)
Heat 6 tbsp ghee in a kadhai , add the grated doodhi and saute well till soft , add 1.5 cups of milk and keep stirring and cooking till almost dry , add 100 gms of khoya/ mawa and cook for a minute .
In a blender blend 2 slices of bread with half cup milk to a fine paste ( dont be shocked reading this but u will be surprised with the results)
Add the bread paste to the halwa and cook more , add 1 tsp elaichi powder , 10 tbsp sugar and cook till a thick consistency . Lastly add 2 drops of green colour if u wish or simply skip it .
Pour in a bowl or tray and sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
Serve garma garam or at room temperature.
