Chicken Afghani Gravy

Guys trust me this is gonna become one of ur fave gravys once u try it. Many places have afghani as a white gravy , but my family doesn’t prefer white gravys that much , so here is my version of the regular afghani gravy.

Marinate 500 -750 gm chicken and marinate with fresh ginger , garlic , green chilli and onion paste . ( around 10-12 garlic cloves , half inch ginger , 2 green chillies and 1 small onion) marinate the chicken with this paste , juice of 2 limes and salt. Let marinate for half hour.

In a grinder , grind together , barista of 1 big onion , 2 tomatoes, 1 fist kaju , 1 fist 4magaz , half cup dahi , half cup malai , 1 tsp red chilli powder , half tsp haldi,1 green chilli, half tsp garam masala powder , half tsp dhanya powder , half tsp zeera powder , grind to a fine paste.

Heat oil in a kadhai , and fry the chicken pcs 2-3 at a time , just for golden colour and remove . In the same oil put a tbsp butter and the masala kaju paste.
Saute well and add 1 tsp kasoori methi , a pinch of saffron and the fried chicken, add little water and cover and cook till chicken is tender . Lastly add lots of chopped coriander and 1 cube of cheese grated . Mix and serve hot with ur choice of roti/naan (i made it along with my butter garlic naan , and trust me it was a heavenly combination😋)
