Chicken / Mutton Naan Sandwiches / Naan Chaap
In a pressure cooker heat oil and add 1 tsp whole zeera. Let it crackle then add 1 chopped onion and fry till almost golden , add 2 chopped tomatoes and 2 tsp ginger paste , 2 tsp garlic paste , 1 tsp green chilli paste and salt to taste. Saute till tomatoes are soft then add 2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, half tsp haldi powder, half tsp zeera powder , 1 tsp dhanya powder , 1 tbsp kasoori methi , 2 tbsp dahi , some chopped coriander and mint. Saute and add 500 gms of mutton chana boti. Cook till tender and dry . Mash little with your spoon so it almost feels like shreaded mutton. Add 3-4 boiled mashed potatoes, juice of 1 lime and lots of chopped coriander and mint.
Cut small naans from the centre ( the ones living out of india can make these in burger buns as well) apply a little ghee and roastin a pan till light golden (just roast the inner side)
Stuff the mutton filling generously in the middle and grill on a pan with little ghee on the outside till slight golden and crisp.
Cut to pcs.
Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney
Ps. U can make these without the potatoes as well.
