Khasta Puri

These are really crisp, flakey and melt in the mouth puris . We normally make these along with aam ras instead of regular puris . Break a puri on chilled aam ras and binge in. Trust me u guys are gonna love the combination. These are gr8 along with tea as well . Can be stored in a airtight Jar for a week .

Slightly roast 1 tbsp whole zeera and 1 tbsp whole black pepper . Gring for 2-3 pulses to a rough powder .dont grind much
In bowl mix together 2 cups of maida aata , 4 tbsp chana aata , the ground zeera n black bepper , 100 gm of oil . Mix well so you can see nice flakes . Then add enough water to knead a medium hard dough. Keep aside covered for 15 min .

Take a small ball of dough and roll a puri with help of dry flour. Poke all around with a fork and deep fry on medium heat till golden. Let cool slightly and serve .
If u want to store then let it cool completely n then store otherwise it will lose crispness.
