Mutton / Chicken Tava Masala

Mostly tava masala is thought to be a really dry starter like dish . But i had this dish at a place in gujrat which had a onion based dry gravy . Loved it at recreated it . And guess what it was loved by all .
In a pressurecooker put oil and whole garam masala and a few curry leaves and 2 green chillies chopped . Let it crackle and ads 500-750gm of mutton or chicken. Fry well till the colour of the meat changes slightly. Now add salt 1 tbsp garlic paste , 1 tbsp ginger paste and saute well . Add 2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp dhanya powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder (guys i would always suggest u guys to use my garam masala recipe for all the dishes by me , it really changes the taste) half tsp haldi powder , half tsp jeera powder . Saute more on high heat . Now add 4 tbsp dahi and saute. Pressure cook till done. Lastly mix in half tbsp kasoori methi.

In a tava or kadhai heat oil ( use a tava only if u have a big one otherwise use kadhai or a big vessel if ur making more quantity) add 2 sliced onion and cover and cook on low heat till soft . Add half sliced capcicum and 2 chopped tomatoes , salt and again cover and cook till soft . Pour the cooked meat on the onion tomato mix and saute well , add half cup of chopped spring onion , lots of chopped coriander and juice of half lime. Cook till dry and serve hot with chapati or tandoori roti or butter garlicnaan or any kind of roti infact like rumali or paratha.
